The Codeo Group, pioneer in the re-use of professional IT equipment in Europe (5 brands, 200 employees, 6 sites in Europe, €40m turnover in 2022), announces that it has integrated Clarion Communication Systems, a specialist in the trade of telecoms and networking equipment in the United Kingdom. Following a 1st acquisition last year, this step marks a significant advance for the Codeo Group, enabling it to :
- Diversify its re-use offer in the telecoms/networking range (office telephones, SIP telephones, DECT sets, headsets and networking devices)
- Strengthen the scope of its activities in the UK in the Codeo Group’s traditional ranges (barcodes, point-of-sale terminals, payment terminals, PCs, smartphones)
- Offer new growth prospects in the public procurement market
A new acquisition that confirms the Codeo Group’s external growth ambitions
As a pioneer in the re-use of professional IT equipment since 2005, the Codeo Group has a long tradition of:
- Geographic expansion, with the creation of local re-use centres, notably in France, Spain and Poland.
- Technical expertise, with the repair, buy-back and refurbishment of the largest ranges of professional IT equipment: barcodes, payment terminals, POS terminals and PCs.
The acquisition of CCS fits in with this logic, helping to consolidate the activities of one of Europe’s leaders in re-use industry. Codeo Group’s customers will benefit from CCS’s expertise in the repair, supply and end-of-life management of their fixed telephony and networking equipment. CCS customers will have access to Codeo Group’s expertise and European network for the management of their IT assets.
